Head knowledge is not enough. It is only one facet of the knowledge of God. Remember that the knowledge of God is dualistic, it has more than one component. And neither component can be separated from the other. Both are needed in order for understanding and wisdom in relation to God to be complete.

As a Christian, waves can be dangerous as well. We’re not talking physical waves this time but spiritual and emotional waves. Philosophic waves. Scientific waves. Waves that sweep our imaginations and emotions off their feet and carry them in directions that seem to be straight and true but really are deceiving.

Okay, here’s the skinny on the story: Paul likes to talk. Young boys like to sleep. First Century windows don’t have glass. Or metal bars. And three story buildings are mighty high. Moral of the story: don’t let sleepy young boys sit in third-story windows when Paul’s around. Got it?
